PROTECTION · POWER · PROCESS

A stable connection.
Start from every fit.

Power and signal need stable contacts; watertightness needs correct assembly. Connect structure, cable, and process, then verify environmental performance against the corresponding documentation.

INGRESS PROTECTION

Protection rating.
Review it together with the conditions.

Immersion and high-temperature, high-pressure washdown are different requirements. Protection claims in the catalog must be confirmed together with the specific product, correct assembly, and test conditions.

IP67

Start from the corresponding specification page.

Multiple catalog parameter columns list IP67, but different mounting forms and product columns may carry different ratings. Mating parts, cables and assembly state should be verified together.

Recorded on the catalog specification pageFor example, M12 front-mount panel and M29 heavy-duty configurations apply according to their respective pages and configurations.Source: PDF 18 · PDF 91View the applicability of each series
IP68

Immersion conditions: verify per project.

IP68 appears on the M19 promotional page and in the M45 specification page. The available materials do not give complete depth, duration or mating conditions; confirmation is still required per project.

IP69K

Washdown requirements: confirm separately.

For high-temperature, high-pressure washdown, specify water temperature, pressure, spray distance, and connection state first, then confirm the corresponding model and test documentation.

Pending project confirmationThe currently verified catalog data provides no IP69K evidence usable for model matching; this is not a statement of series-wide capability or certification.Provide washdown conditions

Watertight starts with correct assembly.

Cable entry

Outer diameter should correspond to the sealing clamp range. Check jacket condition and fixing method together.

Mating interface

Mating parts, seals, and locking state jointly affect interface performance. Check the unmated state separately.

Operating environment

Record immersion or washdown conditions; oil, salt spray, UV and chemical media require separate evaluation.

IP ratings do not indicate permanent watertightness, nor do they substitute for project-specific verification of corrosion, oil or aging resistance.

POWER & SIGNAL

State the load clearly.
Only then can the connection be selected accurately.

Pin count is only the starting point. Electrical ratings, conductor cross section and contact engagement define the usage limits of a specific configuration.

Power connections,
Verify per load group.

Operating voltage, current per contact and conductor size should be confirmed together. For multi-contact or hybrid configurations, match each corresponding contact group; the series maximum current cannot replace the rating of the current configuration.

Ambient temperature, simultaneous loading, and termination process may affect conditions of use. When derating information is needed, obtain the corresponding temperature-rise and derating basis.

Enter power requirements

Signal connection,
Every line, clearly matched.

Pin positions, wiring order, signal type, and shielding requirements together define the interface. When power and signal share one housing, verify each group's ratings separately and confirm the correspondence on both sides of the equipment.

Withstand voltage, contact resistance and insulation resistance are different metrics; view their values and test conditions separately.

A CONTINUOUS PROCESS

One interface.
Connected to a complete process.

From interface definition to cable processing, then termination, sealing and assembly — each step prepares the fit conditions for the next.

01

Define the interface

Confirm load, pin count, mounting position, and environmental requirements, and translate equipment needs into connection drawings.

02

Matching cable

Consider conductor, cable outer diameter, cable length, branches and outlet direction together, leaving proper fit for contacts and sealing.

03

Linking processes

Organize part forming, termination and assembly according to the corresponding structure, so contact mating and sealing mating follow on from each other.

04

Verify the finished product

Check wire order, electrical performance and assembly state against project requirements, then confirm the required environmental validation data.

Specific processes and verification items are determined by the drawings and configuration. This describes the continuous relationship of connection manufacturing and does not imply that all models share the same processes, inspection frequency, or certification scheme.

DOCUMENTED PERFORMANCE

Performance, back to verifiable data.

Models, parameter ranges and reference pages, together in one place. Values not stated in the catalog remain marked as verify.

See the corresponding product column for materials, plating, mating life, temperature and electrical parameters. Test hours are not converted into years of service life; certifications only describe the specific models and scope covered by their certificates.
